Solar photovoltaic power generation principle

First, solar photovoltaic power generation principle

The principle of solar power is that photovoltaic panels convert sunlight into electricity. PV cells consist of one or two layers of semiconductor material, usually silicon. When light hits the battery, it creates an electric field between the layers, which causes current to flow. The greater the intensity of the light, the greater the current.

The electricity generated by photovoltaic refers to the energy produced by photovoltaic systems in sufficient sunlight, called kilowatt-hours or kWp. When there is plenty of sunlight, a lot of energy is generated that you may not use. The photovoltaic system you install can be connected to the grid to sell excess power.

Second, how to use solar energy at home

If there is a demand for electricity in the home (i.e. turning on appliances), the inverter ensures that solar energy is used first. If there isn't enough solar power, then more power is drawn from the grid to supplement it. This is automatic and seamless, so you don't need to do anything.

Three, how to carry out photoelectric conversion

Photoelectric conversion is the process of directly converting solar radiation into electrical energy through the photovoltaic effect. The principle of this process is that photons transfer energy to electrons to make them move and create an electric current. There are two ways to solve this process, the most common one is to use a solid device with silicon as the main material, and the other is to use light-sensitive dye molecules to capture the energy of the photons.
